Chuck teamed up with drummer Byron McWilliams and bassist Paul Phillips
in the late nineties to form the Chuck Underwood Trio. Local appearances
included a performance with the late avant-garde jazz pioneer Lester Bowie.
The CD "Introduction"is a blend of modern jazz original compositions and
choice standards. CD's are available by contacting Red Door Records.
We are finishing our second CD which is a collection of 100% improvised
music including acoustic guitar and upright bass. See below for samples.
